A new episode of Ontoraler Kotha titled Sabina will be aired on November 20 at 6:20pm on Channel i, to generate public awareness against acid violence in the country.
Sabina: Drama Serial
Sabina is a student of class seven from a fairly affluent family. She stays with her aunt as her school is far from her own house. Meanwhile people make comments about her living in her aunt's house. After Sabina's return to her own home, the lecherous Selim makes advances at her--including a proposal of marriage. Sabina informs her family about it and her elder brother warns Selim not to disturb her any more.
Selim then sends a formal marriage proposal through his influential brother. Sabina's family refuses the proposal as Sabina has not yet reached a marriageable age. A while later, Sabina's family fixes her marriage with someone else. A furious Selim comes to Sabina's house and threatens her helpless family. In a fit of anger, one day he finds the door of the house open and taking advantage he enters and hurls acid on Sabina's face . Sabina's suffers grievous burns on her face and body. The police arrest Selim later.
